Lascelles History
Gaëtan Lascelles originally founded L’Ingénierie Lascelles Engineering Limited in 1992, principally offering structural and civil engineering services in Eastern Ontario. In 2015, partners Mario Elie, François Elie, and Manon Rodrigue took over the original business and founded Lascelles Engineering and Associates Ltd. (Lascelles). In the first year of the new firm, the number of employees grew to nine full-time positions and the service offering was expanded to include geotechnical and material testing and quality assurance services.

In 2016, Lascelles continued to grow and added two full-time positions to its team, bringing to a total of 11. That same year, Lascelles opened a second office in the Ottawa area to provide better services to Eastern Ontario while broadening engineering employment opportunities to include Ottawa and Gatineau professionals.

In 2019, Lascelles moved from its long-time location on James Street to its new head office on Spence Avenue in Hawkesbury, Ontario. The new location provides more space as we continue to add employees to our team and is better suited to serve our clients.
Lascelles Today
Today, the Lascelles team counts over 20 employees, including students. Our talent and expertise have grown year over year since 2015, a trend that is expected to continue into the foreseeable future. We provide an increasing number of services, diversifying our expertise to include environmental assessments, aggregate management, construction supervision, contract administration, and land development services.
